Marketing Through Media (and Jedi Mind Tricks)

With more than ten years of experience writing and editing for publication, broadcast, occupational literature and academic works, and seven years combined public relations and marketing experience, V has learned that a successful message is about SO MUCH MORE than just getting the details RIGHT, or being able to see the BIG PICTURE.

She won’t only tell you how to fix your spelling and grammatical errors, or how to make your main character more likeable, or how to fill those pesky plot holes. And she won’t just tell you how to fix your resume or write a cover letter that doesn’t sound like the back of a Business 101 textbook. She’ll WORK WITH YOU to help you FIND your STRENGTHS and TURN UP THE VOLUME on your talent. Whether you’re an author, editor, blogger, intern, middle manager or CEO.

Most importantly, she’ll teach you how to sell your ideas…your work…and yourself. (In a good way. Not in a crossroads demon, “sell your soul” kind of way. Obviously.)

These days you can easily find V using Google, because she has written freelance articles all over the web, in addition to working in many professional capacities in the television, publishing and product marketing industries.

For editorial quotes, see below:

V specializes in conceptual editing (i.e. making sure your story is COHERENT and ENGAGING from start to finish), but she is also professionally trained as a copy editor. Unlike many freelance editors, she does not charge by the word or the page. Instead, she begins with a one-on-one consultation and a 15 page “sample edit” to make sure that there is a good editorial fit. This phase results in a 2+ page editorial letter and a quote for the full manuscript, which varies based on how much work is needed.

To request a consultation/sample critique of your WIP, please email and include the following:

  • Your name and contact information (Skype, email or phone at the very least)
  • Your query letter or rough synopsis (if you haven’t yet gotten that far)
  • Links to your author website (if you have one)
  • A short description of your experience, and anything you’ve had published in the past

Note: Please be advised that due to conflict of interest I will NOT offer query help to writers who plan on querying, or have previously been rejected by, the Corvisiero Agency. Also, DO NOT use the form below to query me as an agent. I will not respond. To seek representation, please follow the submission guidelines at
